Edmonds Community College is pleased to announce a community mural project with area K-12 schools and visiting artist Max Lyonga from Buea, Cameroon.
Max Lyonga, an accomplished painter with international exposure, depicts themes of contemporary life in southwest Cameroon with a positive message that transcends all boundaries and cultures. Edmonds Community College is pleased to announce an exhibit of new work by the artist that explores his recurring theme — the “Therapy of Hope.”
In addition his art exhibit, Max will travel to Edmonds April 2 – 16 to serve as a visiting artist to the college as well as five area K-12 schools with whom he has been administering an art and letter exchange with students in Cameroon.
