Jeri set the mark for Student Art in our community in the 1980s, developing a model for the process of having art education in the classroom that followed through to exhibiting the work in the broader community. Retired as an educator from the Edmonds School District she has continued to support the scholarship and grants programs of the EAF Foundation with professional insight. She has added her flair to the Patrons’ Preview for many years, both as a committee member and as the Chair. Jeri became an EAF Foundation Board Member in 1996. |

“We moved here from Scottsdale, Arizona and like so many other people, I had a friend who said, ‘Why don’t you come and volunteer for the Festival?’ So in 1968 I volunteered and I was just a greeter in the information booth. Then I got more and more involved and I’ve done a number of jobs. I’ve been a Director of Inside Art (now Jury Selected Galleries); I’ve been a Director of Registration. And actually, at that point it was all one thing so, now it’s separate. Then I was Treasurer. And I was President. I’ve been a part of the Foundation for the last number of years and it’s just been a great experience for me.” Peggy Jones has been a member of the EAF Foundation Board since 1979 when it was first formed as the EAF Museum. |

“When I was fourteen years old, I had a neighbor named Jack Midgley, and he was building a house down from us. They needed some manpower to help out at the Festival, so he recruited me to come down with him and we moved panels and moved stuff around and I sort of got hooked. It was like joining the circus at the time. I started when we were down at the Civic Center, where the old library was.” Terry continued to volunteer for the Festival as a Director and as President. He has been a Board Member of the Foundation since 1988. |
Rick Bader is the newest member of the Foundation, joining us in 2011. |
