Since 1991, the Student Poster has been provided by Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation, highlighting one student each year from our School District’s Art Program.
When young Andrey Angere was asked why he painted this picture, he said, “It was pretty and I was thinking about spring.” His favorite thing to paint is spring pictures. In Western Washington in 2011, we can all thank Andrey for reminding us just how wonderful spring can be. This artist is a kindergarten student at Meadowdale Elementary School. He wants to write and illustrate children’s books when he grows up!
