A major part of the mission of the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation remains arts education in our community. This program has been providing support for visual arts curriculum in K-12 schools since 1994. For the 2007-2008 school year over $15,000 has been provided for visual arts education in our local schools. This includes funding to the Edmonds Community College Art Department for their assistance to K–12 programs through artist-in-residencies and teacher training programs.
