“We can accept memorials – when people donate, like Darlene did for her 25th anniversary – she said no gifts and the money went to the scholarships. And when Marv Burk died, we did the same thing. His family put a notice in the memorial program that people could send funds ‘for scholarships, grants and the art that Marv loved.’ We’re getting more and more people, like Jack Midgley’s wife who gave some money when he passed away. So that’s something we need to promote more.”
