In 2010, the Sambataro Family Foundation committed their annual scholarship funds for a visual arts student to the EAF Foundation scholarship endowment.  Each year since 1999, a $1,000 scholarship award has been provided to an Edmonds High School senior who wanted to pursue fine arts in college. The scholarship was named for Anna E. Sambataro, an artist her entire life who received great satisfaction and pleasure from teaching art. We wish to acknowledge the Sambataro family commitment to visual art students and their support of the EAF Foundation Scholarship Program. Their funds were awarded to Amanda Rengli, Edmonds Woodway HS who will be attending Western Washington University this fall.

The Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities as an active partner in the education of tomorrow’s artists. Future visual arts students looking for post secondary scholarship assistance in the visual arts are invited to visit our website, www.eaffoundation.org in early 2011 to view the latest application requirements and deadlines.
